Who we are

Maine Dental Path ("we") connects dentists with dental practices and groups hiring in Maine and New England. You can reach us at hello@mainedentalpath.com.

What we collect

  • What you tell us in the fit check: career stage, priorities, timeline, relocation plans, licensed states, interests, name, email, mobile number, and the call times you pick.
  • Where you came from: the page you landed on, the referring site, and campaign tags in the link (for example utm_source).
  • Messages between you and us or the practice we introduce you to, and when they were sent, delivered and answered.
  • For practices: the details you send through our inquiry form.

How we use it

  • To match you with practices and share your answers and contact details with the practice we introduce you to, so they can schedule and hold your call.
  • To send confirmations, calendar invites, reminders and occasional check-ins about your search.
  • To confirm whether an introduction led to a hire, which is how we are paid by practices. This can include checking public professional registries such as the NPI Registry.
  • To improve our service, including aggregate reporting.

We never sell your information and never share it with your current employer.

Text messages

If you check the box on the fit check, we'll text you about your request: a verification code, your call confirmation, reminders before the call, and occasional follow-ups. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of using our service.

Mobile numbers and text-messaging opt-in data are not shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.

Who we share it with

  • The practice or group we introduce you to.
  • Service providers who run our site and messages on our behalf: hosting (Vercel), database (Neon), text messaging (Twilio), email (Resend) and AI-assisted analysis (Anthropic). They may use the data only to provide their service to us.
  • Authorities, when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep records of introductions for as long as our agreements with practices require, typically up to 24 months after the introduction, then delete or anonymize them. Ask us any time to delete your information and we will, unless we need to keep a record of an introduction to settle a fee.

Your choices
